Unit Converter Pro is committed to protecting your privacy. We do NOT collect, store, or share your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 What We DON'T Collect
We do NOT collect:
- Personal identification information
- Email addresses or contact information
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Advertising identifiers
1.2 Local Data (Stored on Your Device Only)
The following data is stored locally on your device and NEVER leaves your device:
- Conversion History: If you enable history recording, your conversion data stays on your device.
- Preferences: App settings, favorite units, and customization choices.
- Subscription Status: Your premium subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and Apple.
1.3 Crash Reports Only
The ONLY data we collect is anonymous crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs and improve app stability. These reports contain:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and crash logs
- Technical error information
These crash reports are completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.
1.4 Currency Exchange Rates
To provide real-time currency conversions, our app fetches exchange rate data from third-party APIs. This data is retrieved once per day and does not require or transmit any personal information.
2. How We Use Data
Since we don't collect personal data, there is minimal data usage:
- Local Data: All your preferences and history stay on your device for app functionality.
- Crash Reports: Used only to identify and fix bugs and crashes to improve app stability.
- No Tracking: We do NOT track your behavior, usage patterns, or any other activities.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local Storage
Most of your data, including conversion history, preferences, and favorites, is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
3.2 Third-Party Services
We use the following services with minimal data collection:
- Firebase Crashlytics: Only for anonymous crash reporting (Google LLC)
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing (they handle payment data, not us)
- Firebase Remote Config: For app configuration (no personal data collected)
3.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication for premium features
- Regular security updates and patches
- Limited access to personal information
4. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with the following third-party services that may collect information:

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat) that help us operate the app.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to users.
- Protection: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users.
6. Your Privacy Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data from our systems.
- Opt-Out: Disable analytics and crash reporting in app settings.
- History Control: Enable or disable conversion history recording at any time.
- Data Export: Export your conversion history data from the app.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our app, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
9. Data Retention
Since we don't collect personal data, retention is minimal:
- Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.
- Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
- Subscription Data: Managed and retained by RevenueCat and Apple according to their policies.
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do NOT use cookies, tracking pixels, or any tracking technologies. Firebase Crashlytics only collects anonymous crash data. There is no behavioral tracking or advertising.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Sending an in-app notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
- Right to say no to the sale of personal information
- Right to delete personal information
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

14. Do Not Track
Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. Our mobile app does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track users across third-party websites.

By using Unit Converter Pro, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our app.
